Some positive news for Cleveland’s Slavic Village!
Cleveland City Officials and members of Slavic Village Recovery, LLC, showed off their first rehabilitated home Tuesday afternoon.
The house is located in the redevelopment area, near East 54th Street between Fleet Avenue and Mound Avenue.
The mission of Slavic Village Recovery is to leverage public, non-profit and for-profit enterprise with a unified vision to rehabilitate single-family homes in a concentrated area, creating affordable housing and bringing large-scale change to Slavic Village.
The diverse alliance is forged by Forest City Enterprises, RIK Enterprises, Slavic Village Development, and Neighborhood Progress, Inc.
