We’re Moving!

The Cuyahoga Land Bank is pleased to announce it is relocating its offices from Lakeside Avenue to the historic Caxton Building, located at 812 Huron Road in downtown Cleveland. The Cuyahoga Land Bank has been in its current location since its formation in 2009.  “This move is sensible and exciting for us,” says Cuyahoga Land Bank President and General Counsel Gus Frangos.  “The Caxton Building has a rich history, is centrally located in the Gateway District, and nearby the County Administrative offices.”

Built in 1903 for the Caxton Building Company, the Caxton Building housed printing and graphic arts businesses.  It later became the World Publishing Company. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and declared a Cleveland historical landmark, one of the first in Cleveland, in 1976. The building is owned by William and Katherine Bolton of Property Operations, LLC., and is known as a tech hub and the home of AJ Rocco’s.

A need for more space and a more centralized location from which to operate prompted the Cuyahoga Land Bank to begin its search for a new home late in 2017.  “Because we work very closely with the county government, this location near the County Administration building is very practical,” says Frangos.

Plans are for the move to take place this summer after renovations of the 11,561 square foot space is complete.
