What motivates you in your work?
My favorite part of my job as a Demolition Inspector is getting to go out in the field and interact with our contractors and the general public. It’s gratifying to see our hard work in action and talk with neighbors about the progress being made to make Cleveland a better place to live.
What is the best advice you ever received?
A job is complete when it is done 100% right; good enough doesn’t count.
What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I went to college first with a scholarship for Music Performance with the flute before finding my calling in Urban Planning.
What’s playing in your car right now?
In my car right now is an Erykah Badu single: Tyrone.
What do you do for fun/hobbies?
I enjoy hiking and bicycling when the weather permits. Otherwise, I love watching anything Science Fiction as well as playing my flute and listening to new music.
What drew you to work at the Cuyahoga Land Bank?
I was searching for a new direction in my career that combined my passion for urban planning with my experience as a contractor and hands-on approach. The Cuyahoga Land Bank seemed like a perfect fit!
